Modern Doll Collectors Convention® 2011

Competition Instructions

Competition will be held on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 and will be a one-day event with the following schedule:

• 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Enter dolls in competition
• 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Competition open for viewing
• 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Remove dolls from competition

If you wish to enter competition, please fill out the entry forms for the specific category (also listed on our downloads page). When registration opens, bring them with your doll.
Go to the check-in desk outside the competition room and make sure the paperwork is on file with the clerk; a clerk will assist you in placing the doll in the proper category.
Please provide a stand with your doll; none will be available in the competition room.
You may submit a 3-inch by 5-inch index card with pertinent information regarding each entry.
Do not put your name on the index card.
Dolls will be judged and awarded ribbons from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Please pick up your doll promptly during removal time.

1. Dress any Ellowyne by owner in Party or other costume

2. Any Ellowyne in original outfit

3. Dress any Evangeline by owner in Party or other costume

4. Any Evangeline in original outfit

3. Kish

1. Dress any Kish child under 10-inch by owner

2. Under 10-inch Kish child in original outfit

3. Dress any Kish child over 10-inch by owner

4. Over 10-inch Kish child in original outfit

4. Alexander

1. Dress any Alexander fashion by owner in Party theme

2. Any adult doll in original costume in Party theme

3. Any original or redressed 8-inch Alexander Travel Doll in Party theme

5. Tonner

1. Dress any Adult Tonner doll in Party theme
