San Antonio & The History Menger Hotel

Our convention will be held at the Historic Menger Hotel in San Antonio this year. Located just across the street from the Alamo, the Menger is world reknowned for it's famous guests, including Teddy Roosevelt, Sidney Lanier, Babe Ruth, Mae West, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, and Sarah Bernhardt, just to name a few.

We have a special convention rate for the hotel of $115 per night.

Ghost sightings at the Menger are documented in many books, and have been featured in television documentaries on A&E and PBS. Thereare two Ghost Tours available every evening during the convention. One leaves from the Alamo Plaza, directly outside the hotel, the other leaves from the blocks leading down to the Riverwalk across the street and both are very interesting. You don't need a reservation, just show up and hand over your fee.

The San Antonio Riverwalk is amazingly pleasant, even when filled with thousands of people during the annual Fiesta in May. Also known as the Passeo Del Rio, there are miles of sidewalks that meander along the river, passing shops and restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions.
