1. What does the registration price include?
   
   For 2008, we are pleased to inform you that every attendee will receive a convention souvenir doll by Kish & Company.
   
   

   Your registration also includes entry into our salesroom (which is not open to the general public),and an opportunity to purchase helper tickets for an amazing array of prizes, with many donations for 2008. You will be able to attend a variety of free programs offered by some of the biggest names in the doll world, sign up for workshops and seminars of all sorts, and meet new friends. You will also receive a souvenir bag with all sorts of goodies included, and other things we aren't telling just yet.
   
   

2. How do I know if I got in to the convention?
   
   

   You should receive your registration packet, which will include your convention number, beginning June 14th, 2008. Registration packets will be emailed to those who signed up by email or provided an email address on their registration form.Other packets will be mailed first class postage.

   Those who register after May 30th may request their registration number by email. Please E-mail Dodie Vaughn to request the number as soon as you receive email confirmation.
   
   

3. What is a "Meal Event"?
   
   We offer what we call Meal Events that feature other participating manufacturers. These events are priced separately. Each of these events has its own souvenir.
   
   

4. How do I sign up for meal events?

5. What if the event I want is sold out?
   
   We try to update the website as soon as we know that an event is sold out.
   
   If we happen to be asleep when this happens, and something you sign up for is sold out, your credit card will be refunded, and you will receive an email from our registrar. We do keep a waiting list, and will offer spots that come open to those on the waiting list.
   
   

6. How do I make a hotel reservation, and what days should I book the hotel?
   
   To book a hotel room, contact the Hotel, either directly at 727-894-5000 or through the Brand Reservations desk at 800-HILTONS (800-445-8667), or make your reservations on-line by booking through the World Wide Web.
   To qualify for the convention special room rate of $99 a night, you must identify yourself as being with the group, Modern Doll, Inc., at the time the reservation is made. We suggest that you make travel arrangements that will get you to St. Petersburg no later than 11 AM on Wednesday. Most attendees arrive on Tuesday and leave Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
   
   

7. What if I have to cancel?

8. Table Seating
   
   Modern Doll does not have assigned table seating, except at special "Reserved" tables, where the representatives of the company or group hosting the event are seated. Other than this, we just find an empty seat and fill it! We find this to be a lot of fun, as we meet lots of different people at every convention.
   
   

9. Are there any special benefits for returning attendees?
   
   Returning attendees have their registrations packets mailed out in advance of those for new attendees, if they pre-register before December 31st, 2007. We may also have special promotions available for returnees, which will be announced either privately or through the Yahoo! group.
